Wedding Venue Services

FarmResort is a picturesque wedding venue and winery. We are located on over 140 acres of beautiful farmland with a 6 acre lake at the center of the property. Our approximately 8,500 square foot venue includes a commercial kitchen, a groom’s room, and a bridal suite. Complete wedding packages From $21,000 - $25,000 and include the use of our venue, commercial kitchen, bridal suite, groom’s room, tables, Chiavari chairs, tablecloths, dinnerware, cutlery, and time for a rehearsal brunch the day prior. We can work with your vendors or can suggest some from our preferred list. Our capacity allows for up to 300 guests seated, with tables. We are located about 1 hour north of Dallas and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Fort Worth. Call or visit our website for more information or to schedule a tour. The Barn:

Just under 8,500 square feet, The Barn has the capacity for Up to 300 Seated guests on the first floor.  Our main congregation area includes glass walls that can be pushed aside, allowing for an immersive experience into the scenic 100+ acres of rolling farmland that stretch off into the distance.  This extraordinary view is further enhanced by a 6 acre lake at the center of our property.    

The first floor is also equipped with a commercial kitchen and a dedicated Groom’s room.  On the second floor sits The Bridal Suite, with additional private quarters which expand onto the balcony, overlooking our main entry way.

FarmResort Wedding Pricing Guide  

Complete wedding packages start at $21,000 and include the use of our venue, commercial kitchen, bridal suite, groom’s room, tables, Chiavari chairs, tablecloths, dinnerware, and cutlery. Your wedding Ceremony can be held inside of the venue or outside with a lake view.  If you prefer to use items that we do not have or if you wish to add decorations, we are happy to work with your vendors.  We would like to support you in having a successful and memorable wedding day, so if you have any additional suggestions or requests, we would be happy to discuss them with you.  We are currently booking weddings up to 2 years in advance.

Monday – Friday Wedding: $21,000, Plus Tax.

Saturday Wedding: $25,000, Plus Tax.

Sunday Wedding: $23,000, Plus Tax.


Cleaning 

It is the responsibility of the client to make sure – by way of their own party or their vendors, that the venue is generally clean and picked up after the wedding is over to allow the venue to be returned to its normally functioning condition.  Additional cleaning costs will be added if they are required (i.e. marks on walls or furniture, or if the venue is not picked up and generally cleaned after the event, etc.).  (Please see the security deposit information below)  


Security Guard - $500 each

1 security guard is required for every 1-100 people.  Example: 1 security guard for 1-100 guests, 2 security guards for 101-200 guests, and 3 security guards for 201-300 guests.  The cost of each security guard is not included in the venue fee and will be an additional $500.  300 guests is our maximum capacity for a wedding. 

 

TABC Certified Bartender - $500 each

1 TABC certified bartender is required for every 1-100 guests for any wedding where alcohol is to be served during any part of the event.  Example: 1 bartender for 1-100 guests, 2 bartenders for 101-200 guests, and 3 bartenders for 201-300 guests.  The cost of each TABC certified bartender is not included in the venue fee and will be an additional $500.

Also, a member of your party must be assigned as the dedicated alcohol liaison in case of overconsumption.  FarmResort reserves the right to stop or limit alcohol consumption of any kind, should the health of our clients or staff be put at risk or for any other legitimate concern.  Consumption of alcohol is only permitted for those who are 21 years of age and older.  Guests are encouraged to bring a driver’s license. 

 

Wine: We offer all of our FarmResort Winery wines for purchase at a discount - $5 off each bottle.  Once you have booked, a complimentary taste testing with the bride and groom will be included if you are interested in our wines.  Outside wine is also allowed.  (See general guidelines above)

Beer: Allowed (See general guidelines above).

Mixed Drinks: Allowed (See general guidelines above). 


Security Deposit 

An additional security deposit of $2,500 is required.  This covers any additional cleaning costs and potentially broken items.  Please note, that if this amount is not sufficient to correct the issue, additional money will be required from the client.  This money (or any money that is remaining after additional charges have been deducted), will be returned within 1 month after the event has concluded and the corrections have been made. 


Wedding and General Liability Insurance

 

Wedding and General Liability Insurance (covering up to $1,000,000 and with FarmResort listed as an additional insured) are required to be purchased by the bride and groom (or their representatives) and proof of insurance must be presented by the time of the final 25% payment / 3 months before the wedding date.  The price of this insurance can vary depending on a number of factors, but is often less than $200. 

 

Securing your date! 

In order to reserve your date, 50% of your total cost is due at the time of booking. Another 25% is due 6 months before your date and the last 25% is due 3 months before your date. Because your special day has been reserved for you alone, all payments are non-refundable.  We do require the purchasing of wedding and general liability insurance.  Please keep in mind that prices are subject to change quarterly and that your date and price have not been secured until your 50% payment has been received.   The venue is available for your wedding date from 1pm - 11pm.  However, the bridal suite and groom's room can be available as early as 10am, As Available upon request. General cleanup has to have occurred and the venue must be vacated by 11:45pm. The venue reception area is also reserved for your rehearsal brunch on the day before your wedding, from 10am - noon (included).
