Repeat Visitors: Woodland has just been refurbished,
with real beds instead of foutons. A full-sized refrigerator and electric
stove have also been installed. You will find it more comfortable than ever!
Woodland
Carriage House is located next to the River House, deep in
the Whiterock Valley, and right on the main hiking trails of the
Resort. The gorgeous River House yard,
with a volleyball court and horseshoe court are right
outside your door. A bonfire ring, fishing ponds and
the river are
nearby. The Carriage House is about 4
miles from theGarst Farm Lodge Headquarters and 1 mile from Oakridge
Country House.
The Carriage House is
spacious, with a queen and twin bed in the bedroom,
and two queen beds in the living/sitting room.
The unit is equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, plenty of hot water,
library, games, dining table and all linens.
The decor has a "lodge"
feel, and features the physical manifestation of the on-line Fluxus Indian Museum (a New Wave art
museum which has nothing to do with real Indians.) There are several
magnificent windows with woodland views. Although not elegant, the Carriage House
has all the comforts.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a functional and
fun wood burning cook stove, a electric
stove, full-sized refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, charcoal grill, and all
dishes and utensils.
An optional full
country breakfast is available at the Home Farm Bed and Breakfast, and it is well worth
enjoying at least one morning of your visit.
Both outdoor and
a garage dog kennel are available. Dogs can be inside Woodland Carriage House, but
ONLY IF YOU ARE WITH THEM and IF YOU KEEP THEM OFF THE FURNITURE. There is plenty of
room in the facility for your own dog kennel. Liz Garst who lives next to Woodland
has two dogs, who love to play with all visitors.

$165/night one night stay. Minimum 2 night stay on weekends. Optional breakfast at
